Adguard Safari extension issue

Okay so I have Adguard installed on Safari. But I just noticed after doing a OSX security update (which restarts the computer) that Adguard does not show up in the extensions pane in Safari preferences nor does anything show up when clicking the button in the toolbar. How can I uninstall and reinstall the extension? I went to the Adguard website and downloaded what appears to be a paid version which put an icon in my menu bar which enables a drop down menu. Is this the same as the Safari...

desktop in iCloud with El Caption?

I have two computers, one running Sierra, with documents and desktop in the cloud, and one running El Capitan. I'd like to know if there is some way of synchronizing the local desktop folder on my El Capitan mac with the desktop folder in iCloud, so that items on my Sierra mac's desktop will appear on my other computer's desktop, and vice versa.

I have an iMac which I just installed El Capitan from the Apple Store. I had to load Oracle Virtual Box with Windows XP to run an old piece of software that will never be in Mac.

I have just purchased a MBP late 2011 2.6 IG to replace my aging Thinkpad x200(which runs Ubuntu). The MBP has Mavericks 9.5 on it.

Since I made a bootable clone of El Capitan on an external USB 3.0 Drive, my question is whether I can upgrade the MBP using the bootable clone of El Capitan on the portable...

I've been trying for months to download OS X El Capitan to my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro 7,1. After "purchasing" the free OS X el capitan download on the App Store back in May 2016, it wouldn't download. Apple support said I needed to establish an account with a credit card in the country in which I was living, so I did. (I had moved to Colombia from the US after purchasing the laptop.) Download iPhoto library from thumb drive to Capitan Photos

I did a clean install of El Capitan and have my iPhoto library on a thumb drive but unable to copy into Capitan Photos. I copied into the iCloud drive and tried to move them into Photo that way but it didn't work. How do I get my photos downloaded.

Hi guys,

Anyone know how to get mac ircle x working on el capitan?

The program launches fine but when I try connecting to a server, the program just quits. Anyone know what is causing this or know of a work around?

I hate all the other mac irc clients available out there. There are no programs like ircle unfortunately :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance!

What brought you back to el cap, what hardware you running, and will you be willing to give sierra a try again in due time ?

For me I've been on sierra since the betas for better or worse (worse), but i have a 40gb el cap partition, and 40gb win10 pro partition on it. This is a 2015 rMB 12" base

will probably stay put since ill be using 13" late 2013 rMBP more and adjust as needed, maybe transfer key documents and files from the sierra partition and go all el cap, or favorable capacity...

Hello, I have upgraded to El Capitan and things are running smoothly. I was using the program LaunchControl to check and look at a few things and noticed there is the following .plist file com.apple.FolderActions.enabled in "/System/Library/CoreServices/Folder Actions Dispatcher.app/Contents/MacOS/Folder Actions Dispatcher" that is running throwing out some Error 78. Notification Center not working after recent security update

Hey guys,

So basically everything was running smooth on both my computers running el Capitan 10.11.6 and now after yesterday's security update, notification center is unresponsive on both machines. its like it literally froze. Even the clocks dont display properly. I reset PRAM and SMC and nothing. anyone else with this issue? any fixes? appreciate any help.

I have a MacBook Pro (early 2009), running El Capitan v. 10.11.6.

Automatic updates from the apple store were installed last night and this morning, every app I try to open won't. I get the message "You can't open the application because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I have a few files on my desktop, and if I click on them, the "damaged or incomplete" apps associated with them open just fine.

The update installed last night was "Security Update 2016-003 Supplemental Update, Version...

iMac don't connect with magic mouse

hi everyone,
i have a big problem to connect my magic mouse with my Imac (late 2009)
If i turned on my iMac and turned on bluetooth, and turned on also my magic mouse nothing happens only a search circle is buzzy to find bluetooth devices .... but iMac don't find anything even my new magic mouse and the battery's are fully uploaded??
Is there a way to fix this problem?

Hi all,

After much delay I finally upgraded my mid-2007 iMac from 10.7.5 to El Cap. 10.11.6. Everything seems to have gone very well. Surprisingly well, given the straight leap from older to newer (and this old Mac can't run Sierra, so that's it for this old beast).

However, iCal is not showing any data beyond what is "found in mail". All my previous data is missing! I don't know why it didn't move with everything else. I presume the iCal .plist in Preferences would've been integrated,...

I recently bought windows 7 online so that I can install it through boot camp. The product came with a registration key and an ISO file. I downloaded and burned the ISO onto a blank CD. Install 10.11 on macOS Disc

I need to run a legacy program, which will only run up to 10.11, however all of my machines are now on macOS.

Unfortunately the software doesn't run in VM so can't go that route.

So trying the dual boot option.
I've tried to create a 10.11 installer disk using DiskMaker X but neither my MacBook or my MBP will read the 10.11 installer disk - is that right?

10.11.6 TIFF bug?

I'm a photographer upgrading from Yosemite to El Capitan in order to run Capture One 10, but last I heard there is a bug in 10.11.6 that shows TIFF files as black and issues with IIQ files in Capture One. Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved somehow? Alternatively, does anyone know where I can get a 10.11.5 installer file? Only a combo update is available directly from Apple. I'm not interested in upgrading to Sierra quite yet.

External hard drives don't show up in El Capitan: UNRESOLVED

I've tested this with 2 external hard drives I own, both drives do not show up when plugged in. One is USB and the other is Firewire 800. Anybody else seeing this?

Hi
I have a 5K 27" iMac with El Capitan Installed
Since the last update I have been getting the above error
I have spend quite some time on the phone to Apple experts and get this report
I got onto a senior advisor who assured me they will try and solve this
I check the net and read some 50 articles from people with the same problem
I have tried all the different ways to restore but nothing worked

They suggested I upgrade to Sierra, but I have 3 major programmes which are not compatible...

Since they are both no longer updated, is there any alternative to these add ons?
I used them mainly to be able to download video clips and block flash content.
